Arbuthnot’s B&B is a quiet, cozy, 2 bedroom self-catering cottage in an older part of town. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a fridge and cupboards which are stocked with all breakfast foods. They also have a barbeque and there is a lovely garden – a popular place for honeymooners.

The House on the Park adjoins the natural surroundings of  George Lane Park. Convenient walking trails along the river, through the park and wild life areas offer an opportunity for a refreshing walk or exercise for our jogging guests.

Visit the High River Visitor Information Centre at the Museum of the Highwood! Monday to Saturday: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday: Noon to 4 p.m.

George Lane Park is nestled among hundreds of mature trees beside the Highwood River, within a short walking distance from Downtown High River’s entertainment, shopping and restaurants.

The park is equipped with many amenities including a stage for plays and small concerts, a gazebo bandstand, a playground, baseball diamond, bocce ball and horseshoe pits, picnic tables, public washrooms and a fully serviced overnight campground. Considered the Jewel of High River, George Lane Park is a favourite destination for visitors and residents alike.
